1. Workers' Compensation - Senior Claims Examiner
Manages load of workers' compensation claims for assigned client(s). Primary contact between the client, Injured Worker and all Providers. Reviews set-up on new claims. Confirms M.O./Indemnity decision, and reasonability of initial reserves. Updates reserves, DWC's rehab forms, runs abstracts. Maintains written documentation of claim status. Maintains control over indemnity claims requiring vocational rehabilitation consideration. Pays awards, after calculating amount remaining to be paid. Reports to Excess Reinsurance carrier. Other duties as assigned.

2. Senior Claims Adjuster - Automobile and General Liability
Determines liability and coverage. Sets and maintains adequate reserves and appropriate reinsurance. Conducts investigation, compares data on claim application, death certificate, and/or physician statement with policy files and other company records to ascertain completeness and validity of claim. Contacts doctors, lawyers, and others to resolve coverage questions. Determines extent of coverage. Corresponds with agents and claimants or interviews them in person. Manages legal aspects through timely assignment of litigated cases to defense counsel, and on-going evaluation of legal process and expenses. Pays claims amount due according to settlement agreement and company procedures.

3. Workers' Compensation Claims Assistant
Requests medical records. Contacts physicians to request medical status. Schedules Independent Medical Exams (IME) and Agreed Medical Exams (AME). Sends benefit notices to Injured Worker. Files and serves documents to the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board and to legal representatives. Processes rehabilitation disclosures. Pays medical and expense bills. Processes objection letters. Requires a general working knowledge of Workers' Compensation procedures.
